How Do Davenport Screw Machines Work?

Davenport multi-spindle screw machining provides automated and highly specialized metalworking. These automatic machines rely on a precision machined drum to cut several pieces of material simultaneously. The drum horizontally rotates over spindles and divides the work so each full rotation completes one part of the cut. Each spindle becomes a 2-axis lathe with the help of an end-slide and cross-slide tool.
