Stainless Steel Screw Machining
Our stainless steel machining services and capabilities include 4 grades of material. 303, 304,316 and 416 are included in this portfolio. Based on demand, 303 is our most popular grade for stainless steel screw machining, but we are experts at machining all grades of stainless steel.
303 Stainless Steel Machining
Key attributes of 303, such as being non-magnetic and non-corrosive, make it our most popular grade of stainless steel. 303 has great forming properties and is considerably better machining than other grades. It is a fit for machined and ground parts exposed to corrosive applications.
304 and 316 Stainless Steel Machining Services
304 steel machined parts are tough machining but are highly non-corrosive, appealing to the food handling and aerospace markets. 316 is similar machining to 304 and is also great for corrosive applications. You will find 316 in applications involving corrosive chemicals and even in some medical instruments. Consider these grades for highly corrosive applications or sterile environments.
416 Stainless Steel Machined Parts
Our final grade of stainless steel is 416. Unlike the previous three grades, 416 stainless steel machined parts are relatively easy to machine. 416 is great for parts that require strong mechanical properties but also free machining. Unlike the above grades, corrosion resistance is not one of 416’s strong points.
