By having multiple division throughout the United States, Ashley Ward is able to provide customers with products in an efficient and cost effective manner. As transportation and fuel costs continue to rise, geographically separated divisions allow us to cut down on transportation costs and delivery fees. Geographically dispersed divisions also allow us to supply products in an extremely efficient manner. By having multiple locations close to our core customers, we are able cut down on lead times and deliver our products in a timely manner. This is advantageous to customers who have an urgent need for our products and find themselves lacking the ability to wait for their machining needs to be satisfied.

We can take on large projects that include either large numbers of part numbers, or large volumes, or both because we have a large arsenal of machines and capabilities throughout our 5 facilities. Sometimes companies decide to get out of machining completely, to which we can respond quickly and efficiently in transitioning all that work to our facilities. We have ample room for additional equipment and resources allowing us to grow as fast as our customers will allow.
Vertical Integration is also a very important feature of our various locations. We start at the beginning with the raw material at our cold drawn bar facility, Cincinnati Cold Drawn, which supplies the raw material to our 4 machining facilities. There we can machine, heat teat, hob, spline, and grind parts to produce a finished part, making us a true one stop shop. As a result, this vertical integration allows us reduce costs, improve efficiencies by decreasing transportation expenses, and cut down on turnaround time.
Having many facilities throughout the country allows Ashley Ward to diversify risk and provide contingency plans in the event of any unforeseen circumstances. With many of our divisions having similar machinery, equipment, and expertise, it is easy for us to move production from one location to another in the event of machinery malfunction, natural disaster, or other reason.
